We’re seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in the web design and development industry.

At Stone Digital (stonedigital.com.au) we’re a specialist web design and development agency based in Sydney, Australia, with a global team. We focus on creating custom bespoke websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. 

With a growing team and a diverse portfolio, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to help us with effective Project Management in our business to ensure we deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Key Information:

• Location Preference: Remote
• Timezone: Must have full or significant overlap with Australian working hours (9am-5pm AEST)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Partime, Contractor

Requirements:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including designers and ensuring all team members are aligned and working efficiently towards project goals.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the agency’s quality standards and client specifications, conducting thorough testing and reviews.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Process Improvement: Enhance project management processes and contribute to refining our company’s SOPs.

About you:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a web design and development agency.
• Strong understanding of web development processes, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Highly regarded:

• Experience managing projects in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
• Any Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Experience with remote teams and managing virtual projects.
